Step back in time, through blue and wine-colored velvet curtains, into this museum and authentic barbershop where – amid chandeliers, gilt-corniced walls and Empire-style chests – you can get a haircut, straight razor shave and a head massage, seated in a 1920s hydraulic chair, while learning about the vintage tools displayed around you. You can buy shaving cream and shampoo from the museum’s proprietary line as well.
My son had his first haircut here. The amazingness of the shop is matched only by how great the staff is! What a truly amazing experience I would recommend for anyone! Thank you so much!
Came to this place on NYC trip because it looked interesting. We were met at the door and asked if we were there for a cut or the museum. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
Treated my significant other to the Express shave. He absolutely loved it! He's been growing out his beard for a few months and it needed to tamed badly, he was started to remind me of Grizzly Adams. The barber was AMAZING..AMAZING..AMAZING, she took 10 years off him. Afterwards for entire day he kept staring at his reflection in the mirror and windows. Definitely worth the money.
